Kerala which is said to be the God’s own country is way beautiful than one’s expectation. Its Scenic beauty and serenity is worth being praised about. It’s picture perfect.

Kerala Kovalam was well known as a hippy destination and for toddy (coconut beer) 3 decades back before it transformed into a tourist spot, popular among people who wants break free from the toll of city life and are looking for peace and relaxation. Kovalam is said to have one of the calmest Safest and the cleanest beaches in the world. The Saline water of these beaches is quite shallow wherein you can walk 100 meters without loosing ground.

Kerala Kovalam for a family holiday is the most viable decision as it has something for all family members. Older people come there to enjoy the fresh sea breeze, and relish fresh sea food like lobsters, king prawns and Kalamari, also Kerala Kovalam is highly popular for its authentic Ayurvedic massages which only Keralites have the art of giving the best whereas kids will be seen playing on the beach trying out all sorts of water sports from swimming, to snorkeling.

The beauty of the morning in Kovalam is to wake up and see the sun rise and see the fishermen sailing through the sea on their boats to earn their livelihood.

The Beaches may be considered same but what differs is the feel of every beach and the feeling that Kovalam Beach gives is so divine, that no other beach can give.

Mother plays the biggest driving force in the life of a kid. You are said to be how you have been nurtured.

Imagine eliminating a mothers role from your life and you will see yourself no where.

There has always been a debate as to who plays the most crucial role in a kids life a mother or a father and I undoubtedly believe it’s a mother who plays the biggest and the most important role in the kids life even though father is the bread earner.

Mother is someone whose not jus responsible for ones sole existence in this world but she is also the reason for what we are today. To some extent we can eliminate dad’s role but not our mothers.

What makes women different from men is the sense of love and compassion she holds for her kids, a mother knows exactly what is going through her kids mind without her kid saying nothing, she knows when her kid is worried, tensed or upset even though he’s wearing a wide smile, she knows when her kid is genuine or when he’s pretending, When he’s lying or when he’s telling the truth

She knows the best what her kid is good at and is always pushing him for better and best which no other person will do.

Join hands with me, Lets salute and bow to our mothers for being the driving force in our life and making us reach the heights we have reached today.

I have always believed very strongly in the power of photos. It’s such a powerful tool that can play with your emotions. Make you smile or make you miss someone if it’s a dear friend’s photo or family photo but if it’s a photo of a person you are not in good terms with you tend to get upset. Now isn’t that called powerful..??

The photos keep you young forever no matter how old you grow. Like when I see my childhood pictures I can’t believe I could have been that small and then ma school pictures, then college. You can’t notice the changes in you until you see your photos

but the best of all the photos are the family photos. M so sure no one can get bored seeing through them time and again.

Its feels so pleasant to remember your past through these family pictures, to remember your old times with family in your old small house, or photos of all the vacations you went with your family, or surprise over the photos of your mom dad seeing how young they looked, or your first B’day. the events can go on and on and so will the pictures.

I am sure no one will deny with me on how nice it feels to go through the family pictures.

Family haoliday is not jus meant for one family member but for the entire family who together integrate their energies and enthusiasm in planning a family holiday..

It encourages a great deal of family bonding since this time seems to be the only time when all the family members spend maximum time sitting together planning a holiday,by sharing thier views about a particular place, having silly arguments till they reach a decision and taking mutual decision which is good for all family members.

The later part is even more exciting where all the kids in the family parade around the house deciding what they going to be wearing on a holiday and bring the whole roof down with thier excitements and noise while the mother herself is busy shopping holiday material around the city for her kids, husband and obviously herself

Pre family holiday excitement is always better then the post family holiday depression as said by most of the people., hence all the families should try to strengthen their special family bond by making full use of this pre holiday planning period..

“Next time you and the kids see an antique and rummage store, go inside. It’s a lot of fun to show them what phones looked like when you were a kid, the typewriter you learned to type on, your first camera, or the same dishes your grandmother had “These are some quite valuable lines from the blog written by ‘LAURI GRIFFIN’

While I was browsing through this blog lot of old memories flushed into my mind and made me think lot of things which I felt was worth sharing with all the Families since i am considered to be a family friend

Its a sheer truth that the olden era has transformed drastically into a modern times where kids of today’s generation has no clue about their roots, culture, family values. Family ethics, the conditions in which their parents grew up in, what was the olden era like, what kind of songs they used to like. etc etc… It could either be kids have never been given an opportunity to know their history or they are not interested in knowing at all, but in both the cases it’s crucial for them to know anyhow

It is parent’s duty to keep their kids informed about their history, about the olden times, about their culture and their practices or else children will learn to live in present disregarding their history. Kids should be taught that even they are going to be the future parents and they will have to transfer this valuable information to their kids.

Reasons why it’s very important to be in loop with your past is that there is so much to learn out of it. It’s a saying

‘’HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF’’

There are some interesting tips for parents to keep their kids updated with their history.

1. First step is by not forcing the kids to hear your stories. Or else they’ll only pretend to hear which does no good.

2. When parents are out shopping for kids along with the them, kids tend to be in a happy mood and become submissive to everything that you ask them to do happily and that is when parents can ask their kids to come along with them to one of the stores you wish to take them. Go through the old things and show how it looks like which will interest the kids more than hearing about it.

3. Show kids your old toys, your old story books since reading story books is always a kids favorite hobby, show them old machines, phones, these are few things which always fascinate kids and get them closer to their past and family

Keeping kids well updated about the past of the parents and the country helps strengthening the Family bond

When was the last time we took our grandparents out for a walk, got them their favorite sweet, made them smile, or spent some quality time with them? It’s a question worth being asked to every grandchild

I strongly believe in this topic that changing times have changed the way people treat their grand parents. Olden era witnessed so much respect, love and gratitude in kids for their grand parents, kids then used to be way more attached to their grand parents then their Mother and father. Every time mother scolded or dad slapped first person kids would run to used to be their grand parents. Their was a sense of mutuality in their love

It feels miserable to see how times today have not just changed in terms of loss of love for grand parents but kids today also seemed to have lost their sense of responsibility towards them.

For the people who are the sole reason for their existence, people who sacrificed all their joys to give them happiness, people who have sacrificed so much in life to just get a smile on their face, people who are the sole reason for what they are today.

“Ignorance is said to be bliss “but not when our grand parents are concerned who have never ever ignored us no matter what.

It’s smart to be changing with times but not for our family. Just be how you were to them when you used to be a kid and see how they shower you with their unconditional love and blessing once again.

Nothing in this world can match the family love. In the course of our short life we tend to come across lot of friends, lot of people and fall into different kinds of relationships and have different level of love bonding with people we meet. But love for family is the most special and the most divine of all.

In relationships love is about reciprocating, if you reciprocate you get back in return but if you don’t then its over. But family love is the only kind which is permanent. Whether you love your mother and father or not their undying love for you can never end. So is your sister and brothers love for you. How much ever you fight with them, irrespective of how big the fight may be, when you need them or when you’re in pain they’ll always be around. It’s not the same in case of love of other people. For instance if you have a bad fight with your friend you tend to develop an ego which in some cases don’t let you resolve the fight leading to bigger and bigger crack in friendship but its not the same with family

Even though we know at the end of the day our family will always stand by us through our thick and thin, we don’t appreciate the love we get from them, or rather we take family love for granted and look outside for love, when the true love is right next to you.

It’s a special bond which we don’t appreciate till we have it but once it’s gone then we cry over it. Let’s respect our families, let’s give them the credit for their support and love they showered on us, lets reciprocate the love before its too late..!!

Whether we celebrate our day to day fun, trauma, happiness or sorrow with our families or not but celebration of festivals is a very family thing to do.

Going to party clubs with them, gossiping about your boyfriends or girlfriends these are one of the few things which people are quite hesitant doing with their families. But have you ever wondered what are those very few things you can’t do with your friends?

One thing that tops the list would definitely be celebration of our festivals, which are incomplete without our families. Festivals are said to be family bonding days,, These are some of the very few days, unlike normal days when people look forward to going home to see the whole family together and celebrate the day with pomp and show.

Hindu, Muslim, Christians be it anyone from any cast creed and religion m sure they feel the same way about being together on festivals with family
